The Manhattan Chinatown Parade 2012 is coming up on Sunday, 1/29/12!
To paint a broader representation of our community, we are inviting marchers to personally invite your family members — parents, grandparents, sisters, brothers, children, uncles, cousins, chosen family — to march alongside us for the Year of the Dragon! We are making beautiful sashes for family members to wear as they march with us, for all to celebrate and honor our ferocious allies and the support they have shown us. Please RSVP here. Volunteers Needed
We have a few volunteer spots left to be filled for the parade:
- Distribute Balloon/Sign/Bandannas
- Carry Main Banners
- Fly the Fish Kites (in teams of 2-3)
- Sign-in Sheet coordinators
Volunteers meet at 10:00AM at Project Reach (39 Eldridge St.). We’ll show you everything you need to know!
