Volunteer with GAPIMNY & Q-WAVE during Pride Month!
Here are 4 ways you can help:

Join the Pride Committee:
Join a small group of coordinators from GAPIMNY and our sibling organization, Q-WAVE, to come up with a theme for this year’s Heritage of Pride march in Manhattan on Sunday, June 29th and organize the contingent for the day-of. And help with our sign-making party/post-karaoke event on Friday, June 20th. The Committee will work with past organizers to pull off another great year.

Volunteer at Queens Pride:
Join us for Queens Pride on Sunday, June 1st and later, help out at our Queens Pride fundraiser at member Glenn Magpantay’s house in Jackson Heights, Queens this year. We need folks to greet folks at the door, prepare food and clean up.

Volunteer for Manhattan Pride:
We need folks to carry our banners, hold signs, roll our carts and in general, invite folks to march with us. Sunday, June 29th. AND BE SURE TO ORDER YOUR T-SHIRT by MAY 26: http://www.gapimny.org/t-shirt

Volunteer for Color Me Queer:
Color Me Queer is NYC’s post-pride parade people of color dance party! This year, it’ll happen at Ava Lounge from 5 PM to approximately 10-11 PM right after the parade on Sunday, June 29th. We need volunteers to work in shifts at the door to collect money and volunteers to help with security during the event. Volunteers get in for FREE.
