Make the Road New York, along with dozens of other legal aid providers and immigration reform advocates [including GAPIMNY] have sent a letter to Mayor Bill de Blasio asking him to reverse course on a proposal imposing eligibility restrictions for vital city-funded immigration legal services based on criminal convictions. It could affect thousands of immigrants, both legal and undocumented, who need legal guidance on complex immigration matters.
