About Common Cause Movement
Common Cause Movement is a collective where all kinds of movers and spiritual groovers can come together to create a more diverse, inclusive, and equitable industry through the power of trauma-informed, accessible and intuitive yoga and dance practices. Founded by professional dancer and yoga instructor Ezra Shipin, CCM hosts private sessions, virtual pop-up classes, and workshops circulating racial, cultural and environmental injustices.
Y7 Studio is on a mission to make the practice of yoga accessible to communities of BIPOC, not just on a socio-economic level, but with overall exposure to the practice. In order to increase this access, Y7 partners with groups and organizations that support BIPOC, offering free classes to their members. Y7 is committed to building a diverse and inclusive culture that encourages, supports and celebrates the voices of all clients and staff. Additionally, Y7 is expanding its community outreach program, Freedom to Flow, which brings yoga + mindfulness to students in marginalized communities.
