Aries Dela Cruz, a gay Asian American Democratic activist in New York City, shares how political parties work and how LGBTQ Asian Americans in New York can engage with their local elected officials to achieve priorities for the LGBTQ Asian American community–from immigration to healthcare to housing and everything in between.

The discussion will feature Aries Dela Cruz, GAPIMNY member, Democratic Committeeman for the 70th Assembly District and president of the Filipino American Democratic Club of New York
