How does having role models and/or mentors affect your identity as a queer asian? Do role models found in the media differ from role models from your everyday life? How do you find a mentor? Come share, listen and discuss your thoughts and your experiences as we explore the topic of role models/menotrs and their relevance to Queer Asian young adults.

18-26 who identify as queer or questioning
*Light refreshments will be provided
DowneTime is a new monthly GAPIMNY confidential support and discussion group
open to self-identified young adult queer Asian/Asian American
men/transgender people ages 18-26 of all experience levels. The group’s
goals are to create a safe space for young queer Asian men/trans folk to
discuss issues and shared experiences relating to identity, community, and
activism. Come discuss a range of issues and meet new peers and friends.
