She took you to the Prom. She went with you to your first gay club. You were there for her when she broke up with her first boyfriend. You may have taught her how to suck cock…No? Ok, you get the point. Hags. That one woman who helped you become who you are today. Is she still there for you? Is it healthy to have one? What if I didn’t have one growing up? Do we still need them? Is the term derogatory?

Come prepared to share your stories, eat some food, and meet some new folks!

DowneTime is a monthly GAPIMNY confidential support and discussion group open to self-identified young adult queer Asian/Asian American men/transgender people ages 18-26 of all experience levels. The group’s goals are to create a safe space for young queer Asian men/trans folk to discuss issues and shared experiences relating to identity, community, and activism.
