Yes! Walkers should turn in their contributions at the Sign-In and then be sure to have their names added to the team transfer sheets that are on the team meeting station. Be sure to sign in for team name: APICHA ( Asian Pacific & Islander Coalition on HIV/AIDS) and team number: 0066.
Where does the money we raise go?
Gay Men’s Health Crisis (GMHC) is the benefiting organization of AIDS Walk New York. The money that the APICHA team members raise benefits APICHA. APICHA’s mission is to combat HIV/AIDS stigma and related discrimination, to prevent the spread of the HIV/AIDS pandemic in the Asian and Pacific Islander (A&PI) communities, and to provide care and treatment for A&PIs living with HIV/AIDS and their families. Thank you for supporting AIDS Walk New York and the Asian and Pacific Islander Coalition on HIV/AIDS!!! Your contribution is greatly appreciated.
Can I still fundraise after the walk?
YES you can! The last day to turn in your donations is on June 4, 20010 at 5PM at GMHC if you get checks or cash. Online donations are automatically processed.
