2014 will be our 5th anniversary marching in Chinatown’s Lunar New Year parade in New York City.

Five years ago, activist Irene Tung pulled together activists from the LGBT API community to form a LGBT contingent for the Chinatown Lunar New Year parade. Together, they advocated for and won our inclusion in the parade line-up. We’re here to continue that tradition.

And we’re hoping that you will actively support by joining our contingent once again.  Please sign-up here. The Chinatown Lunar New Year parade is on Sunday, Feb. 2. We are also hoping to join the Flushing Lunar New Year parade for the first time. Flushing’s parade is on Saturday, Feb. 8th. Allies, particularly family members, are welcome to join.

We are also looking for volunteers to help with tasks leading up to and during the march. So if you can help out, please let us know.

Help spread the word.
