GAPIMNY Board Elections & Queer API Town Hall

The first 15 minutes will be dedicated to Elections. The remaining two hours will be for the annual Queer Asian and Pacific Islander Town Hall.

GAPIMNY wants YOU! The new 2011 Steering Committee (SC) will be elected at our General Meeting on Thursday, 1/12/12, Jan. 21, and nominations for positions on the board are now open!

Why be part of SC?

* Help foster the New York Gay Asian Community
* Create meaningful social connections and the friendships through volunteer goodness
* Learn transferable skills, such as event planning, political organizing, networking, project management, public speaking, meeting planning and facilitation, and grant writing
* NO PRIOR EXPERIENCE NECESSARY

Any full paid member can nominate or be nominated for a position, and you can nominate yourself (must be a queer Asian man or transgender person). Simply email [email protected] with the name of the nominee and position.
