When a baby takes his first step, we jump for joy. When a gay man comes out, we go out for cosmos. And when GAPIMNY celebrates the 1-year birthday of its new gay Asian young adult group, DowneTime, the entire NYC population will come out and masquerade the night away! DowneTime would like to invite you to a night of dancing and colorful masked gaiety, as we break it downe to 80s, 90s and hip hop tunes!
Cash bar is available (featuring special signature GAPIMNY/DowneTime drink specials!). Free masks available at the door, or bring your own to enter a free-drink competition! This event is open to everyone (bring your friends!), and is co-sponsored by APICHA, who will be providing FREE confidential HIV testing on-site. Proceeds go towards funding GAPIMNY’s free Young Adult support group, DowneTime.
