In honor of World AIDS Day 2012, APICHA will hold a photography exhibit featuring the work of Filipino artist and HIV/ AIDS activist Niccolo Cosme. The exhibit aim s t o provide attendees with information on the latest approaches to HIV/ AIDS prevention and treatment , as well as a space to honor and reflect upon World AIDS Day. With this event , we hope to support the UNAIDS vision of “Getting to Zero: Zero HIV transmission, Zero discrimination and Zero AIDS-related deaths.”
The photos in the exhibit are part of Cosme’s “Project Headshot Clinic,” an international campaign that uses headshot s of HIV advocates and community members to raise awareness on HIV/ AIDS.
