NYC NQAPIA Catalyst Awards – Sat. Mar 30 (Sign up by Midnight Mar 22)

The Community Catalyst Awards Banquet is an annual fundraising event where the LGBTQ API community gets together to celebrate our accomplishments over the past year. The evening will include cocktails, a 10-course Chinese banquet dinner, and dancing.

GAPIMNY provides our community free or low-cost programming throughout the year, regardless of socioeconomic status. However, the Community Catalyst Dinner is a rare moment when we ask our members to give back to our broader community in a way that is commensurate to their financial means. All proceeds go toward NQAPIA and its member groups — including GAPIMNY — which work to build community and increase visibility and political engagement of queer and trans APIs. Tickets for GAPIMNY members, since we are an NQAPIA member group, are $85 per person. Any queer and/or trans API may become a GAPIMNY member here: https://www.artful.ly/gapimny/store/memberships. For those in need of financial support, GAPIMNY has set aside a limited amount to help defray the cost of tickets. If you’re an LGBTQ Asian Pacific Islander who would like to attend the Community Catalyst Dinner as part of the GAPIMNY contingent, please fill out the form below, and we’ll make sure to save you a seat with us.
