This is a space that is long overdue. Trans and gender nonconforming Pacific Islander and Asian folks predate the United States.
And yet, we get little understanding, visibility, or justice. People see us as tools for sexuality, or as objects of domination. Our countries have been stolen or occupied.
Many of us feel out of place among trans and gender nonconforming communities in the U.S. Many of us feel out of place among our blood families because of our gender identity and/or expression.
We have lots to fight for, and lots to learn. We know our communities are suffering, and also that we are complicit in many forms of violence.
Join us for the first event organized by the Trans Justice committee of GAPIMNY!

Please RSVP via Eventbrite. When you arrive at the door, we will be checking for your ticket. Those who do not have a ticket can wait for doors to open so they can enter, capacity permitting. We will be asking for a sliding scale donation of $5-20. We expect that folks will examine their own privilege and give what they can to support API TGNC organizing.
