Join GAPIMNY for our third annual Pride picnic! We have also invited our fellow QTAPI groups–Q-Wave, SALGA, Tarab, and Caribbean Equality Project–so we hope it’ll be one big QTAPI get-together where new connections are formed. We will also provide poster-making supplies for people marching in Manhattan Pride the next day.
WHO: queer and trans Asian Pacific Islanders and allies. For all people going, we ask that you read our values and abide by them at the event: https://gapimny.org/our-values/
WHAT TO BRING: Sunblock, food, non-alcoholic drinks, and things to sit on (e.g., chairs/picnic blankets). ALSO BRING: Guitars, board games, frisbees, and other fun things!
WE’LL PROVIDE: Cups, plates, snacks, ice, napkins, poster-making supplies
