Do you want to make sure that the “T” in LGBTQ is not silent in GAPIMNY? In this workshop, we will explore and deconstruct our own understandings of gender while pushing for greater clarity on the issues and struggles trans and gender nonconforming folks face. We will role-play intervening against transphobia in our community and brainstorm strategies to make GAPIMNY more grounded in trans and gender justice.
To promote a safer space for this dialogue about race, sexuality and sexual orientation, we are limiting this GM to LGBTQ identifying Asian and Pacific Islanders.
