GAPIMNY is proud to help sponsor KQTcon, the first-ever Queer & Trans Korean Conference.
KQTcon will bring together hundreds of LGBTQ people of Korean descent from across the country. The conference themes this year include family acceptance, mental health, and faith communities. This volunteer-run effort has been in the works for years, and the core organizers are planning to make it a regular event.
KQTcon 2018 is taking place in NYC from April 6-8. There will also be a separate convening for parents and family members of LGBTQ Koreans during the day on April 6.
