‘Dildos and Dumplings‘ is a panel that focuses on how being queer can change the way Asian Americans interact with their communities and culture(s), and how they can consciously and unconsciously uphold themselves to be ‘respectable’ or ‘desirable’ members in society in front of their parents, peers, etc. Basically, how does being a queer Asian American impact the way one navigates through certain spaces and the choices one makes on how to represent themselves?
Speakers:
- Rafael Flores, Co-Chair, GAPIMNY
